MPI MN Student Road Show
Meeting Professionals International Student Road Show promotes Student Involvement and Education
Tuesday, January 19, 2010
The Minnesota chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MN MPI) is pleased to announce the Student Road Show, an initiative to fuel student interest in professional association involvement. This event will take place in the Fargo-Moorhead area on January 19, 2010 from 3:00 – 4:30 PM at the Hjemkomst Heritage Center Auditorium in Moorhead, MN.
Students from Minnesota State University-Moorhead, North Dakota State University, Concordia College, and other area schools have been invited to attend the Student Road Show along with industry professionals. As students are preparing for their careers, it is important to have the support of peers and future colleagues..
Through a grant received from MPI headquarters, and sponsorship through the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors bureau, Holiday Inn, and Media Productions, the Student Road Show is able to provide outreach for students wanting to pursue opportunities in the hospitality industry and promote the value of professional association membership. A panel of industry professionals from the community will share the importance of having an MPI membership that connects members locally and to worldwide support, industry knowledge, and business opportunities.
Snacks, networking and prizes will be given away.
Great reasons to be part of MPI’s growing community:
