The Marketing/Communications team is the voice of the chapter and serves as the liaison between chapter committees and membership to provide information. MarComm manages the newsletter, social media sites, public relations and website to promote membership and publish news, upcoming events, educational opportunities and industry trends.
Join the Newsletter Committee to explore your creative writing, editing, proofing and communications skills. Our chair and co-chair manage a “beat” team of writers who will collaborate with other MPI Minnesota Chapter committees to bring their news to members to promote education, events, sponsorship and member highlights.
The Public Relations Committee provides our volunteers the opportunity to connect with the media and bring exposure to the MPI Minnesota Chapter. If you would enjoy working on press releases, working with the media and/or managing chapter photography, this would be a great fit for you!
The Social Media Committee uses platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to promote our chapter, events, speakers and sponsors and share industry news. Join our social media team to build your online community management skills, organization, creativity and technological knowledge.
The Website Committee is responsible for updating, maintaining and enhancing the MPI Minnesota Chapter website. For 2016/2017, we will be looking to overhaul our website; join us to be a part of this exciting time. This committee will work directly with our association management company and is responsible for maintaining deadlines, managing creative design of website, auditing content and developing guidelines for submission and placement of materials on the website.
