I knew travel was in my blood from the moment I was young - when my cousin and I would sit on our two-seater swing, pretending it was an airplane visiting different places in our imagination. The bug bit me hard while working my second job as a short order taker at the Village Inn. I knew then that I loved people- specifically helping people. My first "big girl job" as a front desk clerk at a hotel solidified my career path. I've continued to love helping people and providing exceptional experiences. I've been so fortunate to be working in my dream job for the past 30 years. My time at Minneapolis Northwest Tourism over the past 6 years has been the perfect culmination of my love of travel and my desire to assist people. I'm a world traveler, foodie, mama to my Corgi and married to the man of my dreams.

Kenyetta Peterson is the National Sales Manager at Choose Chicago. She is accountable for establishing strong relationships with leading corporations across the Midwest area. She provides customized services to over 1,000 corporate clients with booking their business meetings and events in partnership with various hoteliers and conference venues.

Kenyetta has made significant career movements over her 16-year tenure with Choose Chicago. Since joining Choose Chicago, she has been promoted into various expanded roles across the organization.  Through her passion, knowledge and expertise of the city of Chicago, she is able to provide a caliber of service to her clients which have contributed to her being acknowledged as one of the top National Sales Managers in Chicago.

Kenyetta cultivates her skills in the hospitality industry through her membership engagement with SITE Minneapolis and Chicago, as well as MPI Minneapolis and St. Louis.  She also participates in corporate meeting conferences to increase her network such as Collaborate, IMEX and Cvent Connect.

Kenyetta is a leader in the hospitality industry and will continue to progress in this field moving forward. She was born and raised as a resident of Chicago yet currently resides in Indiana with her three children.

Her previous roles within the meeting planning industry uniquely qualify her in the understanding of our clients’ objectives; she is an indispensable asset in the creative solutions and impeccable service that DCi implements to achieve these objectives. Kristin has worked with a variety of industries, including those in Health Care, Pharmaceutical, Financial and Automotive. She has successfully developed small- to large-scale meetings and events including those that operate in a series of destinations over multiple days.

Under her guidance, Koncept Events has become the 2nd largest DMC in South Florida, executing programs for clients throughout the US, Caribbean and Mexico. Hillary attributes her success to always being honest, genuinely loving what she does and staying true to her Midwestern work-ethic.

Hillary has been a featured speaker at several BizBash, ILEA and MPI conferences. She is a multi-published industry expert and received a feature spread in Think magazine’s 2014 young entrepreneurs’ issue. From 94 West (Maple Grove, St. Cloud):
Exit off 94 to North 4th Street. Continue to 2nd Ave. S. and turn right. Be sure not to turn on 2nd Ave. N. You need to cross Hennepin Ave. and Nicollet Mall. Continue on 2nd Ave. S. past the Convention Center to Nicollet Ave. and turn right. Hotel and parking ramp will be on your left.

From 35W North (Northern suburbs):
Follow signs for downtown exits. Take the 11th Street exit. Follow 11th Street to 2nd Avenue South. Turn left onto 2nd Avenue and continue past the convention center. Turn right onto Nicollet Avenue. The hotel and parking will be on the left.

From 94 East (St. Paul, Wisconsin):
Follow 94W, stay in far right lane to the 11th Street exit. Take 11th Street to 2nd Avenue. Turn left at 2nd Avenue. Go past the convention center. Turn right at Nicollet Avenue. Hotel and parking ramp will be on your left.

From 35W (South suburbs):
Follow signs for downtown to the 11th Street exit. Take 11th Street to 2nd Avenue, turn left. Continue past convention center. Turn right at Nicollet Avenue. Hotel and parking ramp will be on your left.

From the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport:
Exit right out of the airport and follow signs to 494 West. Take 494W to 35W North. Follow signs for downtown to the 11th Street exit. Take 11th Street to 2nd Avenue, turn left. Continue past convention center. Turn right at Nicollet Avenue. Hotel and parking ramp will be on your left.

Current valet parking rates: $42.00/day
Current Loring Ramp self-parking rates: 0-24 Hours: $19.00

Parking is in a covered parking garage with 6'6" clearance, no RVs, most vans will not clear. No motorcycles. Vans over 6'6" can be accommodated directly across the street. The parking garage is privately owned and is managed by Allied Parking Inc.
