Tell us about your business and your current job.
The Hotel Minneapolis is a Marriott hotel within the Autograph collection brand. We are a full service property, located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. As for my role at the hotel, I want to assist in making the booking, contracting and success of each program as easy as possible for my clients.
What do you hope to gain from your MPI Membership?
I am excited to continue my growth in the industry with understanding best practices and what planners need from their hotels.
If there was only one thing a potential customer could remember about your company, what would that be?
I would want them to know that at our core we desire hospitality and trust. When you allow us to assist in your program, that you have full trust that we will do what is best for you and your team.
What has been the best piece of advice you have been given, and how has it made a difference in your life - personally or professionally?
Listen more than you speak.— For an extrovert, this is harder for me than I realize at times! That said, it is a small piece of advice that I have taken with me for years that reminds me to listen, learn and adapt to whoever it is I am communicating with.
What are some of your favorite pastime activities?
I mean, I love a great glass of wine! That said, I spend a lot of my free time with close friends and going to see Broadway and local shows when able.
